The CIH Scotland Annual Conference & Exhibition will return as Scotland’s Housing Festival 2017, taking place at Glasgow’s SECC on 14-15 March 2017. This will see the biggest housing event in Scotland get even bigger, and with a brand new look and feel!
The exhibition and sponsorship opportunities available at this event are unrivalled and for 2017 we are introducing a new range of packages to ensure even better value. If your company has a product or service aimed at the housing sector in Scotland, then you can not afford to miss this event as there is simply nothing else in the country that puts as many key influencers and decision makers under the same roof at the same time.
The 2016 event took place at the EICC in Edinburgh and attracted around 1200 people across the 2 day event – with delegates and visitors from housing associations, local authorities, government, housing charities and private sector in attendance. They were able to network with over 80 exhibitors and sponsors with products and
services covering every aspect of housing.
The impressive delegate list for this event sees a high proportion of attendance from Chief Executives, Directors, heads of service and other senior managers. The event also attracts a wide range of delegates from front line housing management and maintenance roles, asset management staff, policy/strategy staff, development/regeneration staff, board members and other social housing and private sector housing professionals from right across Scotland.
A FRESH APPROACH
The return to SECC in 2017 will see a host of changes and new features to the exhibition hall. While this has always been the hub of the whole event – these changes will ensure maximum value for all exhibitors along with more networking opportunities and an increased number of visitors into the exhibition.
Last year saw around 1200 people in attendance over the 2 days, with the first day of the event being the busiest day for delegates we have ever had. With excellent feedback from the new conference format in 2016, we expect a rise in delegates for 2017.
With the introduction of new fringe events within the exhibition hall, we expect to open the event up to those who traditionally have not had the time or money to come to the main conference and therefore we expect the total number of visitors to increase even further in 2017.
